GENERAL
Can we request a specific unit or upgrade?
The resort can not facilitate upgrades. If you made your reservation through an exchange company or agent, you must contact them to request any changes.
What is considered a late check in, and what are the procedures?
Late check in is anytime after 9:00 p.m.. After 9:00, you will find instructions in the lobby to contact the Security Officer for check in. Check in time is after 4:00 p.m. and check out is before 11:00 a.m..
Why do we leave a credit card imprint?
The imprint is for any incidentals you may incur such as phone charges, broken inventory or maid service.
Is there Wi-Fi at the resort?
Yes, there is free Wi-Fi throughout the resort. It is a secured network and a password is required and given at check in. The resort also has computers and printers in the lobby for registered guests to use free of charge.
Are there blow dryers in the units?
There is a blow dryer in each bathroom.
Are pets allowed?
No pets of any type are allowed in the units. A fine and cleaning fee will be charged.
Are linens and towels provided?
Yes, everything is provided. There is no daily maid service but a free linen exchange is available everyday from 8:30 - 3:30. Maid service is available by request for a fee.
Are there laundry facilities on site?
Yes, a coin laundry is located on the ground floor of building I. Change and laundry supplies are available at the front desk.
Are there scheduled activities?
The resort does not sponsor any on site activities. The immediate area provides much to do for a memorable vacation.
If I don’t have a paper confirmation, will I still be able to check in?
It is recommended that you have your confirmation available at check in. If you have misplaced it, please contact your exchange company or agent and have it replaced.
What if we are not satisfied with the size or location of our unit?
If you made your reservation through an exchange company or agent, you would need to contact them to facilitate any changes.
Can I receive mail while at the resort?
Yes, but please make sure your first and last names and unit number are on the item.
Do you have rollaway beds?
Yes, they are available for $3.00 per day or $15.00 per week plus tax.
Do you have cribs?
Yes, a limited number. They are free of charge and must be requested at check in. No reservations will be taken. We also have a rental company that can supply a full line of baby items and have them delivered prior to your arrival. Call the front desk for that information.
Is someone available after hours if I have any concerns?
After 9:00 p.m., a security officer is on property and available by dialing 157 from any house phone.
Is there an age requirement for the hot tub?
Children below the age of 16 are not permitted to use the hot tub at Lighthouse Cove.
Do you provide fax service?
A registered guest may send and receive faxes for a fee.
Are there elevators?
Yes, each building has an elevator
Is there a fitness room?
No there is no fitness room on site.
Are there tennis courts?
Yes, we have two full size tennis courts located across the street from the resort.
Are there DVD players in the units?
Yes, each unit has a DVD player in the living room.
Do the units have a full kitchen?
Yes, each unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen, cookware, silverware, and place settings.
Do you offer weekly or monthly rates?
There are only nightly rates and there are no discounts for extended stays.
Do you offer AAA or AARP discounts?
No type of discounts are offered for rentals.
What is the refund policy for deposits?
Reservations cancelled 14 days prior to arrival will have the deposit refunded. Inside of 14 days, the one night deposit will be forfeited.

How do I contact RCI or II?
To become a member, deposit your week, or request an exchange, you must contact the company directly.

Why did RCI/II deny my request to deposit my week?
Your fees have not been paid for the year you are trying to deposit.
You have a signed rental agreement with the resort.
You do not own the unit/week you are trying to deposit.
Can I do an internal exchange through the resort?
No, all exchanges must go through an exchange company.
When are maintenance fees due?
Fees are due on or before February 1. They are considered delinquent on March 1 and are subject to a $25 late fee and 1.5% interest per month until paid.
Can I occupy my unit if there is a balance on my account?
No, any unpaid assessments must be paid in order to check in.
Can I send a guest to occupy my unit?
With all fees paid, you may send a guest provided you contact the resort in writing, in advance, stating who will be checking in. This information may be faxed, mailed or emailed.
